Episode 2 - Just for the Record
Double trouble Jay and Calvin get down and dirty - literally when they decide to make their room more like home. What does this delicate procedure mean exactly? Messing up the floor, throwing clothes everywhere, throwing rubbish in the air and allowing it to live wherever it lands of course!

Well if they want to live like pigs surely Frankie can borrow the wardrobe they won’t be using? Perhaps, if Natalie hadn’t walked in and asked the same question…Cue dreamy eyes from our duo who’ve both decided they’ve got a thing for our favourite bolshy blonde! Spotting her window of opportunity Natalie flicks her hair, flutters her lashes and asks her new admirers if they’ll move the wardrobe into her room for her, leaving Frankie (as you can imagine) less than impressed. Ooh she’s got a nerve that Natalie and if she addresses Frankie as Charlie ONE MORE TIME SHE’LL….

Meanwhile, back at the classroom, Toone gathers the students together to talk projects. It’s time to write, sing, dance, partner up and produce something special for the rest of the class. The time starts now and they’ve got 3 days to GO GO GO…

Stacey and Frankie want to record a track with a little writing help from their Friends Jay and Calvin. Khush and Aaron partner up to perform the ‘Rumba of Justice’ ( a dance about a girl who saves a guy from evil through dance and DISASTROUS costumes!)

Amy and Natalie decide they’ll be working alone. This is war….with a rather unfair advantage to Natalie. She’s recruited her dreamy eyed duo to do all the work while Amy genuinely works away on her own – she doesn’t need anyone’s help. That is, until she falls over in dance class, hurts her hand and can’t play her precious piano. Enter Felix and his helping (healthy) hand who’s keen to work with Amy on her project – if she’d let him!

Meanwhile, frustrated Frankie and Stacey realise they’re seriously behind with their work because their writing team are currently ‘in love’ so they take it into their own hands to help the boys get the girl! IN THE JAY CORNER we have Stacey and IN THE CALVIN CORNER we have Frankie fighting for their fellas. But do either of them actually stand a smidgen of a chance? ABSOLUTELY….not. Something we’re quick to find out when Natalie interrupts Felix in the recording studio (who’s secretly working on Amy’s track) to confess she’d drop her little ‘helpers’ in a second if he’d agree to work with someone who appreciates him?

And what of her little ‘helpers?’ What have they been up to…? Apart from falling out, thinking about Natalie, insulting each other and having foolish food fights, not an awful lot.

Judgement day arrives and it’s time to produce the projects. Khush and Aaron show their colourful, frilly accessorised Rumba Dance…hmmm, yes, very interesting?! Wasn’t she supposed to save the boy from evil, not dress him in it? Felix plays his cooler, edgier version of Amy’s track and to his delight she actually smiles! Everyone’s loving it and a full on dance breaks out.

Great, everyone’s happy again…until the tape keeps playing and Natalie’s confession about dropping her little ‘helpers’ (which accidentally recorded) is heard by the whole class! Ouch. As Natalie tries to mumble her way out of trouble Jay and Calvin have already decided there’s more to life than girls…CHOCOLATE and surely it’s time they made some more mess in their bedroom….

So, all’s well that ends well, Felix gets a smile from the girl, Jay and Calvin get over the girl and Aaron gets dressed in a yellow frills by one!
